Do you think that the age of consent should be raised? I know in some countries it is lower than 16 which I think is wrong. Do you think 16 is still too young? Do you think that at 16, you are phsyically AND emotionally ready for a sexual relationship? Looking back on my own life, I would say no. I think a lot of 16 year old girls, only have sex because of either peer pressure, or because of boys saying that *if you really loved me you’d sleep with me*. Of course 9 times out of 10 the minute the girl complies, the boy is off for his next conquest.

I think it should be 18, because at 16 I really don’t think you are ready, plus of course your body hasn’t finished growing yet, and anyway, what’s the big rush? Kids these days seem to want to grow up far too soon and can’t seem to wait to rush into a sexual relationship.
